Who we are
Caring Ministries is a non-profit ministry serving Tucson and the surrounding areas. It’s our vision that everyone in Southern Arizona has the opportunity to be loved and live healthy lives.
What we do
We support local communities by providing food and resources, sharing the love of Christ to everyone we serve. Our network of partners provide sites for food distribution to those in need.
History
Caring Ministries has been providing food and clothing to families for over 40 years. The work began in the early-1970s when Pastor Ross Hanna started a food ministry out of Sharing Ministries Baptist Church in the Old Pascua neighborhood of Tucson. In 1992, that ministry was established as a separate nonprofit, Caring Ministries. Today as a part of Arizona Baptist Children’s Services we continue to distribute millions of pounds of food every year.

About ABCS
Caring Ministries is a part of Arizona Baptist Children’s Services & Family Ministries (ABCS) a faith-based, nonprofit organization. They oversee seven ministries with one mission: to provide hope and care to hurting children and families through Christ-centered ministries.
Community Partners
Our network of food providers and distributors includes churches, local businesses, non-profits and schools. With their help we are able to distribute food to those in need all over Southern Arizona. Together we provide hope and care.
